Rules Updates for June 2013
Hi Everyone,

We have a small list of rules additions and clarifications going into this upcoming event. These rules will be reflected in the next version of the rulebook and are effective immediately. If anyone has any questions please contact us for clarification. These are balancing changes and won't have a noticeable impact on gameplay.
  • Piety now requires teaching for each level, not just the first.
  • If you use a combat skill with a real bow and the shot does not connect with anything(completely misses all potential targets) that skill is considered unused and any Pool spent for using that skill is refunded. If a shot connects with a weapon, shield, or incorrect body part(for Slay, Crush, etc...) the skill is spent and any Pool spent is not refunded.
  • This one is a reminder. If you are in a module you cannot Rest. Currently this only means if you are in the mod building up at the pavilion. If a module is run elsewhere for some reason you will be told that you will not be able to Rest where you are going. This is an OOG mechanic that you are free to explain IG however you would like. Being in a dangerous cave somewhere and not being able to focus long enough to Rest for a full 5 minutes is a perfectly reasonable explanation for your character to use.
